The BAIT BOMB is an Active Bait Delivery System (ABDS).
Time delay feature enables accurate and consistent bait delivery to a prescribed swim.
The aerodynamics and hydrodynamics have been designed to enable long distance casting and flight characteristics, with minimum wake disturbance on entry and retrieval. The advanced design not only ensures easy casting, but the hydrodynamics cause the BAITBOMB to rise immediately to the surface when you start the retrieval process. That means the open bait bomb returns to you over the surface of the water like a boat, and so prevents your line snarling on under-water obstructions such as rocks and weeds.
The release mechanism utilises biodegradable release tabs which, in conjunction with the integral fingers, eject bait in close proximity to the hook bait.

What does it do and why is it different?
With the normal design of open or block end feeders, of which there are many designs on the market, all rely on the bait consistency to ensure contents remain intact during the cast and sinking operation.
If the mix is too soft, there is every chance of bait ejection mid-flight. Too stiff a mix can cause the bait to remain in the feeder. This may not be obvious as the retrieval process would almost certainly empty the feeder due to the action of water passing through it.
The Ferris-Tech BAIT BOMB is totally enclosed and remains so until the time release tab opens, allowing the contents of the BAIT BOMB to be ejected under the spring loaded fingers incorporated in the design.
The BAIT BOMB can be filled with any type of bait, from live or dead maggots and chopped worm or pellets. In fact any feeder mix or combination of bait can successfully be used.

Due to the time release feature, the angler can be sure of developing a concentration of bait in close proximity to the hook bait. If necessary, the hook bait itself can be part of the loaded BAIT BOMB and would therefore be expelled with the ground bait. Particulary effective if used with 'pop-up' type hook bait.
Advantages over current 'feeders' on the market
Unlike PVA bags, the BAIT BOMB can be used with all types of bait, both wet and dry.
Confidence that ground bait is ejected in close proximity to the hook bait is assured.
Accuracy of presentation is easy as the BAIT BOMB can be moved to the required position prior to bait ejection
The totally enclosed nature prevents loss during casting, even when using live maggots, and is independent of bait consistency.
The BAIT BOMB is re-usable with only the application of a release tab device prior to re-filling.
The ejection fingers and spring action create an effective bait cloud of 'fish attractants'.
Whether fishing the margins or at long distance, the aerodynamic and hydrodynamic characteristics of the BAIT BOMB give easy casting for even an inexperienced angler.
